CGLTyping ("we," "us," "this site") is an independent, static website with no user accounts and no backend server. This policy explains what little data is involved when you use it.

Information We Collect

Your typing test history (scores, dates, WPM, accuracy) is saved using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device — it is not transmitted to us or any third party, because the site has no server to send it to. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device will remove this history.

If you use the Eligibility Checker, the details you enter (date of birth, qualification, category) are processed entirely in your browser and are not stored or transmitted anywhere.

If you email us via a "Contact" link, your email address and message are handled by your own email provider, subject to their privacy policy — we only see what you choose to send us.

Standard web hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) may be collected automatically by our hosting provider, as is standard for any website, for security and performance purposes.

Cookies

This site does not currently set any cookies of its own. If we introduce advertising (such as Google AdSense) or analytics in the future, those services may set cookies — we will update this policy before that happens.

Third-Party Services

Fonts used on this site are self-hosted, not loaded from Google Fonts' servers, so no font-related tracking occurs. We do not currently embed any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Since practice history and eligibility-checker inputs are stored only in your own browser, you can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site — no request to us is needed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, if we introduce ads). The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
